Milo, "Don't I have to have a motive?" The Chief, "Do you?" Milo, "No." The Chief, "Other than your word you're not giving me much to g on Milo." Milo, "I don't understand I told you about the guy with..." The Chief interupts, "...the tattoo on his hand like mine... ya I got that." Milo, "Well ya." The Chief, "We haven't had much traction on that lead of yours," he pauses, "so you don't have anything else..." Milo, "No." The Chief, "Well then I guess we are done here... guard!"

Milo and the Chief stare at one another. The Chief, "So you work at Hank's Hardware." Milo, "A yup." The Chief, "You have now been found at two of the arson locations." Milo, "That is weird huh." The Chief, "Do you have anything to do with the arson's?" Milo, "Nope." The Chief, "Other that your previous statement do you have anymore info?" Milo, "Nope." The Chief, "You are our only connection between the two fires." Milo, trying not to be concerned, "That's bad huh?" The Chief, "A yup."

Not Funny Vol4 p6

"Ok...Let's try this again... What were you doing in Hall's Antiques?", inquires the Chief. Milo responds, "Oh that...I saw the back door was open and I thought they were closed with him out of the country." the Chief, "you knew he's out of the country." Milo, "Oh yeah he and Hank... who I work for, talk all the time." The Chief, "So you were doing some investigating." Milo remembering, "Um... like a super detective... ", he laughs. The chief just stares at him. Milo, "Sorry... something a friend said kinda struck me funny." Very Seriously like Chief states, "Not funny."
