Milo apologizes, "Sorry I wasn't trying to stare. I've got a friend with your same problem." Kid, "Oh?" Milo, "Ya. Actually I just left her at a cafe with some friends. She's all done with treatment and in recovery." Kid responds puzzled, "Treatment? Recovery? Just what do you think I have?" Milo queries, "Cancer? You're in radiation treatment... right?" Kid explaining, "No... I don't have cancer. I have alopecia, an extreme case. It means I don't have any hair on my body." They both sit facing straight ahead on the bench not looking at one another. Milo turns and looks again at the kid. The kid looks over, "Yeah?"

Freakin’ Vol2 p30

Milo finds a bench and sits down. Sighs out loud, "this week has just been weird already." He slumps back and a bald boy walks up wit ha backpack over his shoulder. The boy sits down next to Milo. He looks at him. He looks away. The boy frowns a little and looks at Milo. Milo looks at the boy again not saying anything. The kid responds, "O.K. dude yer freakin' me out."

Imagination Vol2 p29

Milo starts walking, slouched. He looks down another street, " I know I saw her..." He tries to remember her face. "Gah! why can't I remember now?" His thoughts shift, "...Ada... what the heck? Marshall is back? It is good he's o.k. Wonder what he's even been through? I know he was in combat. Damn I was dumb for even thinkin' about Ada. He keeps walking, "That girl though... naw maybe I was just imagining." Behind him the girl he saw is walking off in the opposite direction from him.
